A Letter From My Body: The Journey Back to Safe

For much of my life, I viewed my body as something to manage, endure, or overcome. It was the vehicle I pushed through exhaustion, achievement, loss, and longing. It was meant to perform. To hold it together. To stay quiet.

Until it couldn’t.

Eventually, the signals became louder. The tension. The anxiety. The weariness. My nervous system, once ignored, started to speak in sensations I could no longer bypass. And slowly—through breath, through movement, through small acts of noticing—I began listening. Not to fix, but to reconnect.

That’s where my Soma Journey began.

This membership is for people who are ready to move beyond intellectual understanding and into embodied safety. It is for those who are weary of striving and are seeking a deeper, more sustainable relationship with their nervous system. It is not about achieving perfection or finally arriving at “healed.” It is about learning to live from a place of regulation, attunement, and trust.

What is The Soma Journey?

The Soma Journey is a virtual membership designed to support your ongoing exploration of nervous system regulation. It is both educational and integrative, meaning you will not only learn the science and somatic tools but also be supported as you bring those tools into the real rhythm of your life.

This membership is built on the belief that your body already holds deep intelligence. That healing is not a single event, but a series of returns to presence, to safety, to your Self.

The program explores regulation through three core lenses, each offering a different way of understanding and supporting your body.

Lens One: Modalities as Medicine

This lens introduces what I call “the percent method”—recognizing that no single modality is meant to fix everything, but each can offer a measurable shift in how we feel. Whether it’s massage, reiki, breathwork, cold water therapy, sound baths, neurofeedback, or even laughter and dance, these practices can create a ripple effect when used with intention.

Each week, you’ll receive an email introducing a new somatic tool. In our private community, we’ll discuss how to recognize which stage of nervous system arousal you’re in, how to apply these tools wisely, and how to widen your Window of Tolerance. You’ll begin to understand that you yourself are medicinal—that you hold power to move through discomfort and toward ease.

Lens Two: Building the Regulated Life

This lens focuses on your non-negotiables—the everyday actions that sustain nervous system health but are often the hardest to stay consistent with. Things like movement, nourishing food, sleep, connection, and joy.

This isn’t about adding more to your to-do list. It’s about identifying what truly supports your well-being and building the internal and external systems to help you uphold it, even when it feels hard.

You’ll receive support around the emotional blocks that arise, especially when it comes to self-worth, resistance, and overwhelm. You’ll be reminded that falling off the path is part of the process, and getting back on can be done with gentleness and grace.

Lens Three: Turning It Off

The third lens explores how we begin to quiet the mind so we can hear the body. This includes guided education around trauma, attachment, nervous system development, codependency, energetic boundaries, and the somatic imprints of lived experience.

We will meet for monthly calls featuring guest experts across a wide range of fields, including neuroscience, functional medicine, shamanic healing, sound therapy, Reiki, and play therapy. These sessions invite us into deeper understanding, reflection, and integration, not just learning more, but becoming more embodied in what we already know.

Each Sunday, you’ll receive a simple somatic practice in your inbox. These emails are your weekly compass offering structure, insight, and inspiration as you return to yourself again and again.
