From the safety and comfort of your own curated space, join a virtual group as we explore Breathwork, Yoga Nidra, and Rest as somatic resources for healing and nervous system regulation.
On January 15th from 10 AM to 2 PM we will engage in an experiential learning process of how the nervous system operates.
We will explore the science and evolution of the breath and how you can leverage it as medicine.
We will learn techniques for breathwork and practice them as a group.
We will explore the art of Yoga Nidra which can help calm your sympathetic nervous system and allow the parasympathetic nervous system to take charge. The parasympathetic nervous system controls your body when it's in neutral and works to conserve and restore energy.
Lastly, we will examine your relationship to rest, contentment, and sleep. We will learn how the body uses sleep and create small practices to support your rest rituals. This portion will give you a new insight into your body's relationship to pausing.
This Virtual Experience is part of the Somatic Journey group program and is intended to be a home-based somatic education offering. It supports individuals who are in therapy, works with individuals as a coach or therapist, and people interested in learning more about Somatic Healing.
